BEETLE ACOUSTIC PANEL
Beetle Acoustic Panel
After meandering through the Natural Science Museum, Mut Studio became inspired by the exhibition rooms dedicated to entomology and their terrifying showcases of insects. Their own bug, however, would be beautiful and harmless.
Their new project for Sancal starts with the need to resolve the uncomfortable problem of background noise, overcoming the difficult balance between sound dissipation and decoration. The sound-absorbing panels are textile sculptures that oversize the perfect specimen of a beetle.
By carefully combining the product’s 6 panels, Sancal has created 13 different Beetle variants. As for the finishes, a variety of textile combinations are available. The stand is made of oak wood and can be tinted in any of the colours in our chart.
