The Federal Courts of Australia (FCA) underwent a refurbishment and extension to its premises located in Bolton Street, Newcastle, New South Wales. With complete client confidence and appreciation of the quality design and skills, GHD and GHDWoodhead were able to successfully deliver an integrated offering of Architecture, Interior Design, Structural and Building Services to achieve a distinctive design for FCA.
The interior space was designed with consideration of the visitor’s situation. The Lottus Bench effortlessly integrates into the legal environment, providing lightweight and ergonomic seating for the public. Crafted with a sturdy steel structure and aluminum legs. Lottus Bench offers versatility with a broad range of finishes. Opt for a wooden shell with a frontal upholstery option for a classic touch, or go for the modern appeal of a polypropylene shell, with or without a polypropylene or upholstered seat pad. If luxury is the priority, indulge in the fully upholstered option.
