This transformation breathes new life into a 1920s home settled in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. The expansive home, more akin to a mansion, features a Tuscan villa exterior and is situated in a hilly section of the city's suburbs, presenting a significant challenge to the designer.
The original house, built in the 1920s, demanded furnishings that complemented its grandeur. Macarounas rose to the occasion by selecting premium collections from luxury brands such as Artifort, Sancal, and Expormim, which lend an air of sophistication and elegance to the interiors.
One of the standout features of this home is the outdoor area. The poo landscaped garden have been meticulously refreshed to evoke the feeling of being in Italy, offering a serene and picturesque retreat. The chosen furniture pieces imbue the space with a fresher, more contemporary vibe, perfectly balancing the historical charm with modern luxury.
