Locke Hotel

Locke Hotel

Product details

Berlin's new Locke hotel, located right by the iconic East Side Gallery, brings together eclectic design elements that echo the spirit and history of its setting. This vibrant hotel offers 176 suites overlooking the Spree River, along with a variety of spaces, including a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a co-working space, and a rooftop fitness studio. The hotel's interior embraces a blend of urban materials and softer elements, creating a unique aesthetic that reflects its cultural surroundings.

The architects have created an inviting atmosphere with concrete walls and expansive glazed surfaces, softened by pastel-colored furniture, such as the Gres stools and Fontal chairs by Expormim. The ground floor is designed as an open, sculptural space that combines diverse forms and textures, merging hard surfaces with softer, inviting furnishings. This interplay between industrial materials and gentle colors demonstatres the hotel’s design philosophy, celebrating Berlin’s creative energy and bridging past and present in an engaging, contemporary style.
