The Juanita Nielsen Community Centre occupies a heritage-listed former warehouse building located in the inner-city suburb of Woolloomooloo within the City of Sydney. Catering to a diverse demographic, the center offers a variety of activities and functions. Designed by Neeson Murcutt, the project places a strong emphasis on vibrancy and safety, achieved through the re-orientation of the entry, reorganization of circulation, and internal visibility maximization in its design. The center was shortlisted in the 2017 Heritage, Public, and Interior AIA NSW Chapter Architecture Awards. One of its spaces is adorned with Enea's Lottus chair in green, complementing the overall lively atmosphere of the area.
