Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide safer, more effective, and comfortable care. As Canada's first "smart" hospital, it merges advanced technology with thoughtful design to improve patient outcomes. To improve both patient and staff experiences, the hospital features furnishings from Global Furniture’s Dreme and Primacare collections, aimed to create a calming atmosphere throughout the building. The use of warm orange and cool blue textiles on the furniture helps create a soothing environment.

All patient rooms in the hospital are private, equipped with large windows to allow natural light, and feature comfortable recliners and sleepers for loved ones who wish to stay overnight. These thoughtful design elements work together to create a comforting experience, ensuring that patients and visitors feel at ease from the moment they arrive until they leave the hospital.
