Parachilna Custom allows you to order an existing light in a different colour, size or form, or to develop a brand-spanking-new design to add that extra pizazz to your project requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world’s best boutique lighting manufacturers, producing a custom design for a specific project, and a licensed design that could potentially be added to the Parachilna range.

Parachilna’s range of products are distinguished by luxury materials, fine craftsmanship and refined and imaginative design. Jaime Hayón designed pendants inspired by old scuba diving helmets for Hotel Barceló Torre de Madrid. Suspended above the lobby bar, the hand-moulded Italian ceramic shades, finished in gold, add to the fantastical spectacle created Hayón. (below)

He also designed bright red lamps made with bended, welded steel and blown-glass light globes that are fixed to the wall and ceiling of the Groninger Museum, and the Traffic Light floor lamp for a special installation at Salone del Mobile Milan.

Parachilna only works with world-class manufacturers and sources the best materials, whether it’s ceramics, blown glass, marble or metal. Joos & Mathys created a 9-meter-long steel light, inspired by Japanese design, for the stairwell of the Helferei building in Switzerland. Shigeru Uchida of Atelier Oï worked with Parachilna to develop a series of pendants made with colourful interlaced metal combs for the Enso Ango hotel in Kyoto, Japan. (below)

Parachilna Custom manages the design, development and production process from start to finish. Parachilna founder Roman Riera leads the product development and assesses all design details, as well as providing advice on finishes, materials and other aesthetic decisions. All products are manufactured to meet specified technical compliance, including country-specific certification and components, home automation and dimming systems and weatherproofing as required.
