Get prepared for Milan Furniture Fair
Salone del Mobile Milano is fast approaching with some of the world’s best designers, and furniture and lighting brands. They will be gathering in Milan to show off their newest products and collections. If you’re a designer, supplier or simply a design enthusiast, here are KE-ZU’s top exhibits to mark in your diary.
Andreu World Hall 07 | Stand F27 - F29 Andreu World is known for its innovative designs that reinterpret traditional furniture forms. The company continues to create award-winning seating and table collections, such as Flex and Reverse, and it will no doubt debut pieces that take the industry by storm. Artifort Hall 16 | Stand E26 Artifort has a celebrated reputation with more than a century-long heritage in producing innovative and iconic design. Artifort will launch three new products and one update. The brand-new Figura sofa is a multifunctional seating system that can be adapted in a multitude of ways. Designer Khodi Fez aimed to create a sofa that offers the best possible comfort and relaxation after a long day. Artifort also adds a barstool to the Andrea family of chairs, as well as new fabrics and a pigmented leather collection. EMU Hall 5 | Stand D10 EMU’s new collections on display at Milan are characterised by a distinctive, cutting-edge design for the residential and contract sectors. EMU launched the Miky, Rivera and Mom chairs at the fairs in 2018. All are now in production, so we look forward to seeing what’s next. ENEA Hall 10 | Stand C07 ENEA is market leader in contract furniture, offering a range of solutions characterised by innovation, versatility, comfort and functionality. ENEA will present its products designed by Estudi Manel Molina, including its popular Kaiak, Street and EMA 4L chairs and a new version of the Puck seat. The company will also present a series of new products under the umbrella of Work in Progress that will be on the market very soon. Among them are the Kaiak lounge, Street armchair, Caddy table and Puck seat with two places. Expormim Hall 22 | Stand B37 – B39 Expormim presents two new outdoor collections – Liz and Atrivm. The Liz collection designed is inspired by the sensual form and flair of the 1950s and named for Hollywood superstar Elizabeth Taylor. The Atrivm table is designed as a meeting place around which life unfolds, maintaining the Mediterranean tradition of celebrating life around the table. Forestier Hall 13 | Stand F01 Forestier’s exhibition stand will be illuminated by its magical lighting. The perfect balance of design and craft, Forestier’s pendants combine new forms with new technology to convey the poetic and aesthetic spirit of the company. Kenneth Cobonque Hall 10 | Stand F12 Kenneth Cobonque will debut a range of products it describes as beguiling. Apollo is a cosy and enclosed daybed that’s ready for take-off, while the Lasso chair is a flight of fantasy and the Voyage bed is a sea of dreams. LZF Hall 11 | Stand B33 – B39 LZF is presenting 25 lighting fixtures across five collections, which have been designed by Mut Design, Estudi Hac, Yonoh, Ray Power and Ramon Esteve. Ramon Esteve has also designed LZF’s Euroluce booth, where he will officially launching his new LZF lighting collection, The Black Note. Mobles 114 Hall 10 | Stand D09 Mobles 114 in the “Inspired in Barcelona” exhibition, which takes place outside the fairground in the heart of Milan. The exhibition highlights the unique lifestyle of the Catalonian city, showcasing the talents of Barcelona-based design studios with products that reflect the symbiosis of tradition and innovation that characterises the Spanish city. Sancal Hall 10 | Stand B04 Sancal invited guests into the jungle at Milan 2018. This year it welcomes guests aboard for an unexpected journey to Turati – its new collection named for the city that inspired it. Turati Collection is a tribute to Milan’s architecture and the city’s capacity to transform the contemporary into classic, while the colour, light, materials and graphics of Milan’s Turati metro station are translated into the exhibition backdrop. TUUCI Hall 16 | Stand F38 TUUCI will be presenting its innovative and stylish parasols and sunshades. The exhibition, designed by architect and designer Dick Spierenburg, will have large green areas and open design reminiscent of a summer garden, and will feature three new designs from the Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX collections, as well as the minimalist Zero Horizon parasol. Vondom Hall 10 | Stand D31 - E22 Vondom will light up its stand with two new lamps. The Marquis table lamp by JM Ferrro from Estudi{H}ac expands the collection of lamps and planters, continuing the diamond-cut form. The Gatsby lamp designed by Ramón Esteve has an art deco form and textured glass surface that casts intricate geometric patterns. Visiting Milan this year?
