The Andreu World International Design Contest

We are proud to announce The Andreu World International Design Contest is now open for submissions. Participants from around the globe are welcome to submit their entries to compete for the opportunity to have their chair or table recognised as the most creative and innovative and in the end a truly unique piece. Registration for the annual contest is now under way and is open until December 2016.  During this time the global design community is invited to submit their designs including chairs, armchairs, stools and tables. What are they looking for in a design?  The international jury, composed each year by professionals from the creative sectors of architecture, design and media, review and select designs that offer innovative solutions in design, quality, technology, manufacturing processes and sustainability.  Participants are also encouraged to pay close attention to the production process, including the optimisation of materials in manufacturing as well as versatility and opportunity of further development of the initial design to a collection offering auxiliary pieces such as barstool, chair, sofa, side table etc... Work as a team  Good ideas often arise collectively. Therefore, teams or design and architecture studios are permitted to partake in the design competition.  Don’t forget to indicate that it is a group entry in the registration details.  Before you register we recommend that you consult the FAQ section to review the rules and answer any of your questions. Remember that registration will be open until December and two monetary prizes of €3,000 and €1,000 will be presented in addition to four honorable mentions.
