You may have seen this fabulous installation of Artifort’s Tongue chairs in a distinct yellow on our Facebook page.
Artifort’s Tongue Chair was designed by Pierre Paulin in 1967 and forms part of Artifort’s reissued range from the prolific designer, you can see the other Paulin designs available at KE-ZU here. Formally known as Model 577, the Chair of course takes its colloquial name from its impressive shape, forming a sort of tongue, which rests nonchalantly in any number of environments.
The above installation is an A-Class effort in acknowledging 577’s diversity and design relevance throughout time.
