Made exclusively for the online cultural platform Nowness, Erin Wasson is the lone star of the new Columbine Goldsmith fashion short film “L’Intruse” (translating to “The Intruder”).

The film is structured with a harshness featuring the Californian Mojave desert with the athletic model as the lonesome heroine “…could not remember where she left her husband”.  The fashionista is pinnacled as a 1960’s futuristic housewife who so obviously has intruded upon her surroundings to undertake her task as canvas for 2013 Spring/Summer Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Chanel and Alexander Wang. Highly saturated colours, dramatic brass work and a raw camera style assist to give the film a complexity which draws in the viewer and blurs lines between art and film.   A beautiful piece.
