Now this is really cool!
The late Johnny Cash recorded his last studio track Aint No Grave in 2003. Last year it was released as part of a broader collection on the album American VI.
As part of these ongoing posthumous album releases, his memory is kept alive in this online digital public artwork: "The Johnny Cash Project".
Inviting global website visitors to submit a single film frame for the tracks music video, the project is a fantastic melange of artistic styles, interpretation and tributes to Cash and his legacy. With multiple edits based on styles, popularity and a directors cut, what results is an evolving canvas of imagery that keeps you coming back to appreciate the song in a different light each time.
Take a look for yourself and contribute your own frame with the online contribution page.
