Peter Couwenbergh, Steven Spanjersberg and Edgar Bosman of Dutch firm ArchitectenConsort are the trio behind the new GT Tower East in Seoul, South Korea.
Likening the contours of the structure to the curves found in traditional Korean pottery, the fluidity of the superstructure offers a bold juxtaposition to the more commonly found, geometric office buildings found throughout Seoul.
As well as harnessing solar energy to power many of the building's services, natural light is harnessed directly from the sun through high performance floor-t0-ceiling thermal glass, permitting a natural light throughout each open plan floor.
