TIPO STOOL
Tipo Stool
The Tipo chairs, designed by Taku Kumazawa for Aichi, are manufactured from 100% recycled materials, and can be 100% recycled. Recycled waste containers, car parts and PET bottles were used in the production of Tipo. Taku Kumazawa received the AIT Innovation Award at Orgatec 2012 for his Tipo chair design. The GECA certified TIPO chair is a high density multi-purpose mesh stacking chair and stool with a choice of three different backs and two different seats. Weighing only 3.5kg, TIPO has the ability to stack 40 high and incorporates a linking device within the sled base. Tipo is now available with 4 legs either on glides or castors and is also available with an optional writing tablet. The Tipo collection also includes a stacking stool available in the same seating and back combinations as the chair either with a powder coat or chrome frame. The aesthetics, comfort and functionality of the amazingly light weight Tipo mesh stacking armchair sets a new direction in the evolution of stacking chairs. Link chairs together to form waiting room seating. Available in red, white, black or light grey.
